By the Ancients! During last week's rainstorm, my own eyes gazed upon a sight most mystifying. A hooded figure on the road to Glennwood's End with the look of a specter. Did they float above the ground, or has memory betrayed me?

My son, Jasper, claims he was visited by a dark figure in the dark of night. At first I took this for a child's dream, but then, not a fortnight later, I myself suffered a similar manifestation. It felt so real — a cloaked figure, hovering and infesting my mind with one word: "Dig."

A solitary being came to the tavern as I was closing up. They requested to sit and share a drink with me and set about telling of an untapped resource beneath the ground. If we dig deep enough, this hooded stranger informed me, we shall unlock a new potential for all of man. I am intrigued...
